WELCOME TO ZEITGEIST OTTAWA
The Zeitgeist Movement is a global grassroots social advocacy group which educates people about root causes to persistent social problems, and the potential solutions presented by modern technology combined with rational and participatory social planning.
We observe that many of the processes our global society engages in are fundamentally unsustainable. We recognize that social problems such as poverty, crime, unemployment, financial instability and environmental degradation are inevitable outcomes of the current social model and that the only path to sustainability is a new social system, reformed on every level to meet the needs of the global population while preserving resources and environmental integrity.
We are not an organization in the traditional sense. We have no hierarchy, we have no offices or employees, we have no bank accounts and don't take general donations. All we are is a group of people who hope to help change the spirit of the age. The movement is nothing but a body of information and its members are simply people who understand its importance, and feel compelled to share it with others.
